The six finalists who will do their final battle for the NYMC crown on Saturday, 6 December, at a gala concert with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra are:

• Kyrah Adams – marimba (19)
• James Cilliers – saxophone (19)
• Rebecca Gray – cello (15)
• Quinn Goliath – saxophone (16)
• Hermanus Schmidt – piano (17)
• Yu Qing Peng – piano (17)

Maestro Brandon Phillips will be on the podium at Endler Hall, Stellenbosch. The gala concert starts at 18:00. Tickets from R110 at Quicket.
